The Prodigal Son
There was a father. He was rich. His son wanted to see the world. However, the son needed money. He went to his father and asked for his inheritance.
The father gave him half of his money. The son took it and moved far away. He bought nice clothes. He had big parties. Soon, the money ran out. When it was gone, his friends left him. He looked for a job, but he couldn’t find one. He was poor, hungry, and alone.
He decided to go back home. He would become his father’s servant, he thought. He didn’t deserve to be his father’s son. When he got home, though, his father wasn’t angry at all. “Let’s celebrate!” the father said. The son didn’t understand. “Why are you so happy?” he said. “I wasted your money.” The father answered, “Before, you were dead. Now, you are alive! You were lost, but now you are found.”
